Lovingly curated over the years, our 1970 Canon FD lenses have been converted by Whitepoint in Finland to full PL optics and extended to 16 aperture blades. This iris conversion, the use of Super Spectra Coating (S.S.C.) in conjunction with the aspherical lenses makes the Canon FDs so special and comparable with the legendary Canon K35.

Canon FD lenses were already used in the 70s for productions with special images, such as ‘Days of Heaven’ (1978) with the young Richard Gere and nominated for 4 Oscars, but also in international productions such as ‘Argentina 1985’ (2024)
