At the beginning of the full-frame era, ZEISS successfully built its Compact Prime series. The lenses impress with a neutral image character, a wide range of focal lengths and a long focus distance. The identical photo series of these lenses has already been honoured as Zeiss Classics.
Edward Berger's Oscar-winning Netflix World War I epic ‘Nothing New in the West’ (2022), which won an Oscar for ‘Best Cinematography’, and action blockbuster ‘Mission Impossible’ (2023) were shot by using ZEISS Compact Primes.
